We are encouraging anyone working with young people to use our digital information and resources to support and enhance your work.

Here you will find a range of resources based on information articles found on young.scot and also resources focused on Young Scot services. All resources are free to use and can support the work that you are doing with young people.

Young Scot InfoWise Schools Programme

This exciting new programme aligns both our relationships with schools and our digital information for young people. As a holder of the European Youth Information Quality Label, and Scotland’s national youth information charity, we are well placed to support schools in ensuring the young people they work with have the skills to identify reliable and accurate information, challenge misinformation and understand how this links to their rights and responsibilities.

DigiKnow?

The DigiKnow? resources support young people to become more cyber resilient and learn how to protect themselves and their devices. Young people learn to understand the role of data and information in relation to technology use, whilst reflecting on positive and negative impacts of technology use on their wellbeing.

Money and Me

Managing money, debt and budgeting for the future. These resources are based on our Money & Me campaign in partnership with The Money and Pensions Service Youth Checkpoints Programme.  Here you will find three resources that focus on different aspects of money, including terminology young people may come across, and how they can better manage their money.

 That’s Not OK

Here you will find resources focusing on our campaign against Gender-Based Violence, in partnership with the Scottish Government. We have worked with partners organisations including Rape Crisis Scotland and Scottish Women’s Aid to create an information resource (link to young.scot) for young people in Scotland on this topic.

This Must be the Place learning resource pack

Based on Nesta’s This Must be the Place initiative, here you will find nine scenarios with matching resources showing what Scotland could look like to live and work in a sustainable and hopeful future. Resource topics include: Direct Democracy, Powerful Communities, Living Locally, Dear Green Places, Technology and Nature, Industrial Rewilding, Sustainable Industry, Out of Office and Our Home.

Activate Your Rights

In partnership with the Scottish Government and Children in Scotland, we have created an activity pack focusing on children and young people’s rights. These exciting activities were co-designed by children and young people across Scotland and focus on Rights in Action, Rights Awareness and, Rights Resilience.

#AyeFeel

A collection of information and resources that support young people’s emotional wellbeing. These resources contain quality-assured information, expert advice and content made for young people by young people. Topics such as how to improve sleep, managing stress and productive ways to spend time online are included.

#MakeTimeTo

Here you will find more resources that are focused on encouraging young people to make time to look after their mental health and emotional wellbeing. The campaign that these resources are based on has been created with input from young people from the Young Scot Health Panel.

 Personal and Social Education (PSE) Resources

This resource pack pulls together several of our information campaigns that link closely with the Health and Wellbeing benchmarks within the Curriculum for Excellence.  Topics included: Planning for Choices and Change, Physical Activity and Health, Substance Misuse, Relationships, Sexual Health, and Parenthood.  Within this pack you will find links to specific relevant campaigns along with resources that can be used with young people.
