Help shape the next Truth About Youth survey

Young Scot is inviting organisations to get involved in shaping the upcoming Truth About Youth: Our 2025/2026 Insight Survey.

Each year, this national survey gives young people (aged 11–25) across Scotland the chance to share their views on the issues that matter most to them – from health and wellbeing to technology, social media, AI and much more. The survey captures the realities of young people’s lives today and their hopes and concerns for the future.

By partnering with Young Scot, organisations can add their own questions to the survey – either individually or as a full page of six. Insights are provided through tailored analysis and access to a secure PowerBI dashboard, alongside the full report and online launch event.

Although we can never guarantee completion numbers, our last two annual surveys have received over 2,000 and 2,500 responses respectively – securing a diverse range of voices from young people across Scotland.

Our partners benefit from:

  • Bespoke survey questions co-designed with Young Scot

  • Recognition and branding within the survey

  • Demographic analysis of responses

  • Access to national-level insights and feedback directly from young people

Participation is promoted widely across Young Scot channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, our newsletter (95,000+ subscribers) and a network of stakeholders, ensuring strong and diverse engagement.

If your organisation is interested in better understanding what young people in Scotland think about the issues of today and tomorrow, we’d love to hear from you. For more information check out our 2025/2026 brochure.
