Music star Archie CW reveals the pressure behind viral success in new Fae The Source series

Scottish musician and producer Archie CW, whose music has amassed more than 25 million streams, joins Young Scot’s YouTube docuseries Fae The Source as it returns with a series of honest conversations exploring masculinity, identity and the pressures facing young men today.

Hosted by Glasgow content creator Mark Thorburn, the series is part of Young Scot’s AyeFeel mental health campaign, which reaches more than one million digital users annually

In the opening episode, Archie reflects on his journey through the music industry, from building an audience on social media to navigating the pressures that can come with online success, and the importance of staying true to yourself.

The series will go on to explore masculinity in sport and fitness, body image, artificial intelligence and performing with guests including personal trainer and content creator Jack Valentine, award-winning AI governance and ethics specialist Sidrah Hassan, and Scottish theatre actor Finlay McKillop.

By bringing different perspectives into the conversation, Fae The Source aims to help young people explore the expectations placed on men, consider how these can affect emotional wellbeing and discover positive ways to navigate the challenges they face.

The series reflects the importance of making space for conversations about masculinity without judgement, recognising that the pressures young men experience can take many forms. Through AyeFeel, Young Scot connects young people with relevant information and resources to help them understand and look after their mental health and wellbeing.
