Stigma-free initiative for young people facing barriers
Do you work with young people who face barriers to attainment and could benefit from additional support?
We have launched a new initiative to help organisations and groups provide stigma-free opportunities for young people with up to £300 worth of rewards available.
The rewards, delivered via our Young Scot Membership platform, can be used to recognise young people’s achievements, incentivise participation in youth work groups and provide new and fun opportunities.
The offer:
Up to £300 worth of rewards for your group
Management of rewards through Young Scot Membership platform
Support to determine what rewards to offer
Data and insights for reporting
This initiative forms part of our #YSAttain programme which explores how the Young Scot National Entitlement Card and other Young Scot services can be used in innovative ways to support young people experiencing barriers to attainment, food insecurity and other inequalities. This may include care experienced young people, young carers, refugees and asylum seekers, young people living in areas of multiple deprivation.
Rewards could include:
Food vouchers (supermarkets, cafes)
Entertainment vouchers (cinema, activity parks)
Clothing vouchers
Vouchers related to hobbies (book tokens, craft, sports)
Technology (headphones, smart watches)
