YSAttain: Targeted Rewards for young people experiencing barriers to attainment
Do you work with young people who face barriers to attainment and could benefit from additional support?
We have launched an initiative to help organisations and groups provide stigma-free opportunities for young people with up to £300 worth of rewards available.
The rewards, delivered via our Young Scot Membership platform, can be used to recognise young people’s achievements, incentivise participation in youth work groups and provide new and fun opportunities.
This initiative is part of our YSAttain programme which continues to tackle child poverty, improve attainment and have a positive impact on health and wellbeing of young people in a non-stigmatising way.
Our offer to you:
Up to £300 worth of rewards for your group
Aimed at (but not exclusive to) care experienced young people, young carers, refugees and asylum seekers, young people living in areas of multiple deprivation.
Management of rewards through Young Scot Membership platform
Support to determine what rewards to offer
Data and insights for reporting
Rewards could include:
Food vouchers (supermarkets, cafes)
Entertainment vouchers (cinema, activity parks)
Clothing vouchers
Vouchers related to hobbies (book tokens, craft, sports)
Technology (headphones, smart watches)
