 Young Scot Awards 2025

Celebrating Scotland’s stars

A night to remember

We’re back and we can’t for you to join us as we shine a spotlight on the exceptional young people who are shaping our world. After a year of anticipation, the Young Scot Awards returns to celebrate the resilience, creativity, and achievements of our future leaders. Taking place at the iconic Platform venue in the heart of Glasgow city centre in June 2025, it’ll be an event to remember hosted by CapitalFM’s Katy J, with the stories of remarkable young people at its heart.

Since its launch in 2006, the Young Scot Awards has been Scotland’s only national awards evening for the young people of Scotland which recognise the outstanding achievements of 11 to 26-year-olds and the extraordinary work they do to improve their local communities and the lives of others.

Who’s next?

Ncuti Gatwa, Andy Murray, Paolo Nutini, Martin Compston, Jamie Genevieve and Nina Nesbitt, are all previous Young Scot Award winners? Who will awards host Katy J announce next?

What it means to be part of the Young Scot Awards

These awards shine a light on the incredible achievements and stories of young people – and the nominees for 2025 will be no exception.

“We work every day to support young people to thrive as they grow up in Scotland and the awards, filled to bursting with stories of young people doing extraordinary things to improve the lives of others, is our greatest inspiration.
— Kirsten Urquhart, Young Scot CEO
