Supporting young people to thrive and claim their rights is central to everything we do.

Watch our new video which shows our work over the past year and how our collaboration with partners and stakeholders has supported young people and helped them to:

  • access quality-assured information tailored especially for them

  • express their thoughts and opinions

  • have their voices heard about things important to them

  • have fun by taking part in activities

  • get help understanding how to identify their rights

I make videos online because I want to reach as many people as possible to raise deaf awareness. I didn’t expect how much would come out of the opportunity of working with Young Scot.

Being part of the Creator Collective and working on campaigns allowed me to learn more about the professional side of things – it was completely different to what I’d normally do for my own videos.

@young.scot It’s okay to be alone! Having time to yourself, to do the things you enjoy, is really important. @s0mhairle loves getting outdoors and sometimes that means he's alone for a while but it gives him time to connect to nature. @s0mhairle ♬ original sound - Young Scot
The Young Carers Package is great because it’s helpful with getting stuff for school and having something just for myself. I don’t think I realised how hard my life has been until I sat down and looked at the resources for young carers.

Being on the panel Free Bikes Programme has definitely helped to build my confidence – before I was a shy wee girl, who’d never speak up, but now I’m bursting with energy! I never thought I’d be able to build my confidence and get rid of my stutter, but here I am a year later – more confident and with less stutter.

I joined the TEC panel because I am interested in anything related to
healthcare so I wanted to join this project. The best thing about my experience has been getting involved with something that will make a positive difference to people in the future.
