Youth Loneliness Workshops

Young Scot delivered a series of workshops with two Loneliness Action Teams on behalf of the Cooperative Foundation to engage young people on the topic of Youth Loneliness. Throughout these workshops Young Scot and the Loneliness Action Teams explored young people’s experience of loneliness, what support is available and what relevant support needs to be provided to young people across Scotland to tackle it.

Young Scot worked with two pre-established groups of young people to explore their experience, opinions and ideas, as well as developing and creating new content. The key aims of the project were to better understand the personal experience of young people and the impact Youth Loneliness has had on them and their peers. Following on from this, Young Scot worked collaboratively with both groups to ensure there was relevant, young-person friendly and insightful content readily available to young people in Scotland.
