How does Young Scot Rewards work?
All 12 to 26-year-olds can sign up for free at young.scot and access Young Scot Rewards.
Once signed up, young people can take part in different activities to earn Young Scot Rewards points.
Activities include:
volunteering at their school or within their local community
attending a youth club or a local or national event
keeping themselves informed by reading short information articles or news updates
completing online surveys and questionnaires
taking part in online and physical events
having their voice heard as part of consultations
Young people can then exchange these for exciting rewards, including:
tickets for events or experiences
work-shadowing and work experience opportunities
study guides
access to apps
shopping vouchers and book tokens
cameras, laptops and other tech items
We offer three types of rewards:
Claim - exchange points for a small reward item or voucher
Win - use points to enter a competition to win a larger or more valuable item
Apply - answer application questions for a chance to take part in a money-can’t-buy opportunity or experience
Young Scot Rewards is a fantastic way to engage your organisation with young people. Over 100,000 young people are signed up to young.scot – and our website and social media channels receive over 1,000,000 engagements each year.
There are lots of ways to get involved:
provide points to young people for activities you are delivering - this could include us signposting to your activity from young.scot
provide or donate physical or online items or vouchers
offer work-shadowing or behind-the-scenes experiences at your organisation
give specific groups of young people you work with or support special access to items or experiences
