LockdownLowdown - Breakdown of Key Findings

Scottish Youth Parliament, Youthlink Scotland and Young Scot has published an expanded version of the #LockdownLowdown report. This gives a deeper insight into how young people feel about the COVID-19 lockdown.

On April 23rd, we launched the Key Findings report, providing stakeholders with the top-line results of what young people are worried about, and the impact that COVID-19 is having on their lives.

Since the initial survey, we have been encouraging young people to keep submitting their concerns through a weekly check-in in social media. Helping us to track the key issues.

Informing policy in response to the pandemic

The latest version of the #LockdownLowdown report provides demographic breakdowns of young people’s views of our Key Findings report, including rural and urban areas, SIMD, age, gender, education/employment status and ethnicity.

Young people's views explore a range of key issues around lockdown and the COVID-19 pandemic, giving them a voice in discussions and providing valuable insight to feed directly into policy design and service provision in response to the pandemic.
