With lack of affordable housing the top worry for two-thirds of young people in Scotland, our Young Scot finance hub provides vital resources this #TalkMoney Week.

The Money & Me information hub  provides information and resources on a variety of topics, including Introduction to Banking, What Benefits Can I Claim in Scotland?, What is a Credit Card & Do You Need One? as well as Introduction to Saving and Ten Ways to Manage Your Money in the Cost Crisis

With the current cost-of-living pressures, it’s more important than ever that we provide verified information that can support young people. Our Cost Crisis hub also provides tailored  resourceson how they can better manage their finances. We understand that in order for young people to thrive we must play our part in tackling child poverty and empowering them with financial security – and we do this through the provision of our local and national services including discounts accessed via the free Young Scot National Entitlement Card.

We also work with partners to offer young people ways to save money on essentials, have fun and relax with  both national and local discounts, ranging from 10% off at Co-op and 20% off at Pizza Hut to 20% off Bounce Sessions at Innoflate. You can visit our dedicated discounts page to find out all the ways that young people can save money.

During #TalkMoney Week, let’s empower young people to feel confident in managing their finances. Share our resources today!
