Career support for young people
Raising awareness during Scottish Careers Week
Young people now have a keen eye on their next step following a joint campaign with Young Scot and Skills Development Scotland to spread the word among 11 to 26-year-olds of Scotland’s top careers service.
The campaign, fronted by young people and featuring videos showing real-life experiences, addressed common challenges and misconceptions about career services and reached over 2.4 million people across all platforms.
Social media experts from our Creator Collective, Iona and Alastair, connected with fellow young people on TikTok and Instagram, sharing their own experiences of choosing school subjects and how their choices have impacted their lives so far.
The campaign also addressed misinformation surrounding the services available by highlighting the free career advice available for 18 to 24-year-olds.
We work with trusted partners to create information campaigns to help young people access information and resources. As part of these campaigns, we can cover a large range of communications channels, from social media to our newsletter - reaching the inboxes of 120,000 young people across Scotland.
