Partner with Young Scot Rewards and discounts

At Young Scot, we believe that young people should always be connected to opportunities that help them to develop, learn and have fun. Our discounts and Young Scot Rewards are a great way of doing that.

Young Scot Rewards

Young people who sign up to our website get access to Young Scot Membership Services. From there, they can collect points for participating in positive activities both online and offline. Examples include applying early for their SAAS funding, completing surveys and quizzes, taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, attending youth clubs, and receiving a Saltire Award for volunteering.

Once young people have accumulated points, they can exchange them for exciting rewards including sports gear, stationery, and work shadowing opportunities. They can also choose to make donations to charity.

To support young people during the COVID-19 crisis, we have created online activities to complete at home. They include quizzes, virtual tours of museums and landmarks, and signposting to the Young Scot Covid-19 microsite. We’ve also created activities with the RSNO for young people to watch concerts from home and take part in the #RSNOChallenge. The Scottish Book Trust has also offered the chance to watch Authors Live events for free. These all support young people's health and wellbeing, education, and entertainment. To complement these new activities, we are now offering digital rewards. Young people can enter prize draws to win NetflixApple and Amazon e-vouchers.

Young Scot discounts

Young people are given access to online discount codes, through Young Scot Membership, to save money when shopping, enjoying leisure activities, making travel plans and studying. This is on top of the huge number of high street discounts available to all Young Scot National Entitlement Card (Young Scot NEC) holders. Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, young people can continue to use their Young Scot NEC for online shopping and essential purchases at open retail outlets. Both Co-op Food and Scotmid are continuing to offer their 10% discount in shops to Young Scot NEC holders.

They can also access a a third off online theory test practice and 20% off course books at Bright Red Publishing. These discounts are helping young people to make the most of their money. We are working hard to create even more online discounts with popular brands.
